Cannon Hall Garden Centre
A Klargester sewage treatment plant alongside other products has been installed in a busy rural garden centre and bistro in South Yorkshire.
Located directly opposite beautiful Cannon Hall Park, Cannon Hall Garden Centre & Bistro is situated in the picturesque and historic village of Cawthorne in South Yorkshire. Whether you’re looking for something for your garden or fancy a hot lunch from the bistro, Cannon Hall welcomes old and new customers.
With increased footfall due to both the retail and on-site catering facilities the existing off mains sewage treatment plant no longer met the demands of the site due to the increased loadings. Furthermore, the current system was at risk of polluting the local nearby water course.
The Klargester team were initially contacted by local architect Mark Brotherton at Fox Architecture & Design, Dewsbury who arranged to meet the team on site to discuss the requirements needed to meet local permits. A free site inspection was carried out by the Klargester team alongside our accredited installers R A Dalton and having assessed the property a number of Klargester products were specified to meet EA requirements.
Given the area which the site is located and also the growing numbers of visitors to the garden centre and bistro, the Klargester team recommended our Klargester BioDisc sewage treatment plant. Engineered to treat wastewater to the highest level of standards, using bacteria to breakdown the sewage and removing up to 95% of the pollutants in the effluent, the BioDisc is one of our most popular sewage treatment plants.
Benefiting from affordable lifetime running costs, silent operation, no odour and certified to European Standard EN 12566-3 and SR66:2015 this was the best solution for the site, offering peace of mind to Cannon Hall Garden centre that they are fully compliant and non-polluting to the area.
