Greenham Dwelling Upgrade
A residential dwelling with a failing septic tank located very far from the property, no longer fit for use required a new sewage treatment plant
A residential dwelling with a failing septic tank located very far from the property, no longer fit for use required a new sewage treatment plant that safeguarded the property from risk of pollution. To ensure waste from the property was correctly disposed of the owners contacted Klargester to arrange a free site visit to review and establish the best drainage system to serve the family home.
Our accredited installers, Drain Surgeons went on site and found when they emptied the septic tank it was non-compliant with General Binding Rules. There was mass root ingress inside the old brick-built chamber and the soak away had failed.
Klargester were on hand with experienced area sales managers to offer advice on the appropriate system for the site and to provide advice from start to finish on this home – from sizing requirements including percolation testing, full installation, and commissioning of the product.
For this site we recommended our Klargester BioDisc domestic sewage treatment plant. Engineered to treat wastewater to the highest level of standards, using bacteria to breakdown the sewage and removing up to 95% of the pollutants in the effluent, the BioDisc is one of our most popular sewage treatment plants.
Benefiting from affordable lifetime running costs, silent operation, no odour and certified to European Standard EN 12566-3 and SR66:2015 this is a great addition to the property offering peace of mind to the owners that they are fully compliant and non-polluting.
